School's In
Well, school started last week and I'm kind of excited about this school year! I'm gettin involved in a lot of things and starting my acting career =] Speaking of acting, Casting Fusion was a GREAT help! I got 8 callbacks and met a lot of cool people with my same goals! A lot of the agencies want to keep in touch and one even wants me to fly out to California to audition! Most of them suggested to start locally to get some experience and one reccomended me to Kim Dawson! I had an audition for that agency about 2 wks ago buut I haven't heard anything back so I don't think they were interested =/ They said I'll find out within 6 wks buut idk! Maybe they didn't want me to call back so soon or something! I'm gonna stay positive and I won't give up hope! I'm going to try to gain experience and take acting classes and stuff and then sign with a local agency and we'll see what happens from there. Yesterday I auditioned for the school play but since I'm involved in cheerleading and student council I won't have time for a big role so me and two other frnds are going to be fairies in a Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare! I'm praying that this year will be one of the funnest years ever and I'll actually get my first acting gig!

About Me

Dear Diary,
Well, this is my first entry! Like all journal/diary writers I should introduce myself and tell a little bit about me! First of all, my name is Arianna and I'm 14 years old. I'm about to be a sophmore in high school this upcoming school year. I have two sisters: Janine and Britney. Janine lives a few hours away in Houston (She's my half sister) and Britney lives a few minutes away. She just moved out last month but she visits allll the time! She's a Mavs Dancer so go on their site if you'd like to see her! Suprisingly she's the only Britney on the team! LoL!
Anyways, the reason why I'm making this site is to share my story. My life's story. Plus, I get bored a lot and I had this little idea for a site about me! I already have another site for the videos I make!
Ok, so here's a quick update about my life and what's happening at the moment:
This summer was really fun! It had a slow start but by mid-July excitement started! I'm a very outgoing and bubbly person so I make a lot of friends, but my old best friend didn't like it I guess and she got mad everytime I would hang out with someone else! That had been happening since the 6th grade when we became friends but I never said anything about it! But this summer I made a promise to myself to change and to stop being such a pushover so when she tried to say a snooty remark I finally told her to stop treating me like that. So that's that! Anyways, All my life I've always wanted to be an actress! Not for the fame or glory but for the love of acting! I was going to take pictures and send them to agencies in the fall and take a couple acting classes as well. But my sister came over one night and told me about an open casting call called Casting Fusion. So I decided to go and I made it to the next round! I'll be going to Austin on August 16th to audition for 20 talent agencies and casting directors and talent managers! Yes TWENTY! I'm hoping this isn't a scam because I did have to pay $695 =/ I know you're not supposed to pay to be represented by an agency but this fee is for the hotel rooms, the flights, etc.... I'm hoping! But I'm praying that it's not a scam! But this is the start of new beginnings and I can't wait to see what God has in store for me!
